My Educational training includes a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. In many ways my vocation has prepared me for my career as a writer. I taught Senior High School English for thirty-five years. My involvement in Parish work included catechetical instructions over the same period of time. Spiritual training included a three-year theological program (the equivalent of a deaconate program) which included Lay-Presiding and Homiletics. As a writer, I have published poems, short stories and some 2000 articles in more than fifteen newspapers over the past twenty-three years, reaching over 65,000 readers. Testimonials From an Editor “I truly feel your column ads a great deal to our paper. It is much appreciated.” Ed Doering Editor Roblin Review Manitoba

Calgary Reader “I have always been an avid reader of your column Pause for Reflection. It is a first and a must when I receive my Canora Courier here in Calgary. “A Time to Weep” [article] was a great comfort to me and I’m sure to anyone who read it. I read it over time and time again.” Josephine (Kowalchuk) Lampel, Calgary, Alberta
North Dakota Reader “I’ve read and enjoyed Pause for Reflection — in fact a couple of thoughts by Ken Rolheiser from this week I’ll be transplanting in a funeral message this afternoon.” Pastor David Roehl United Methodist Church Hettinger ND
